Oxfam Endurance Update - No Small Feet

We asked Gerry to provide us with an update on their training for this big walk. Here's what he had to say...

"The Oxfam Brisbane Trailwalk, where four of us will be walking 100k in less than 48 hours, is now only 101 days away.
Yesterday, Alex, Andrew, Louis and I completed our third major training walk at Enoggera Reservoir. We started at 5am and chose to walk over some of the trails that will be part of the actual course. This was an eye-opener, as most of this area is constant (but graded) ups and downs – there aren’t a lot of flat sections.
We did well – completing 29.6k in just under 8 hours.  I fell down and Alex was hallucinating a bit (seeing people that he thought he knew but didn’t), but otherwise we did very well. We were pretty tired at the end of that, which gave us an appreciation of how tough the full 100k is going to be.
But it’s worth it, because we are raising money to help people who most need it around the world.

We'll post updates  leading up to when the guys complete the walk and how they went. Donate through the link below. They have currently raised 50% of their target towards $3,500.
